Quality Operator

Operate secondary processing equipment including presses, clippers, molders, and other equipment within work cell according to process sheets and routings. Coordinate work activities with other operators on a rotating basis within the work cell and perform required SMED press die changeovers as needed. Visually inspect all parts produced within cell for acceptable quality standards. Properly pack parts produced in appropriate shipping containers and label all containers with barcodes as required by the standard operating procedures. Perform all charting and measuring requirements such as scrap reporting, labor reporting, SPC charting, and make appropriate entries in Kronos system, etc. Participate in team decision making process and attend team meetings as required using basic problem-solving techniques. Perform any preventative maintenance required for the equipment in the work cell including SMED press die pin lubrication.
