Tooling Technician

Responsible for all assigned tooling projects to ensure on time completion as scheduled. Assists with all tooling related downtime occurrences and must be able to address minor equipment issues. Maintains essential tooling performance (Press dies/Endform tooling/Bend dies/Crimp dies). Creates and/or Modifies computer aided drawings and models as needed. Makes minor modifications to tooling independently. Communicates proper operation of new tooling to process associates as required. Work with Process Engineering on improvement projects related to Safety, Quality, and Production Efficiency Assists with the implementation of self-initiated and employee defined continuous improvement projects. May on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this job description.
