Glass Machinist Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Glass Machinist Apprentice to join our team at Corning. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to become a skilled craftsperson in the glass machining industry. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines to produce glass products according to customer specifications.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as prior experience with basic mechanical operations and the use of hand tools. Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a must. You must also be able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. • Operate and maintain a variety of glass machining machines in order to produce glass products according to customer specifications
