
Glassmaking Process Engineering Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for glass technology to gain valuable experience in the industry.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field• Knowledge of glass manufacturing processes and related chemistry• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently• Ability to work with teams, both in-house and external, to develop new ideas and solutions• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD/CAM, and other software applications
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of glassmaking processes and related chemistry.
- Work with teams to develop new ideas and solutions for glassmaking processes and related chemistry.
- Analyze data and troubleshoot any issues with glassmaking processes and related chemistry.
- Collaborate with in-house and external teams to ensure process optimization.
- Monitor and adjust glassmaking processes and related chemistry as necessary.
- Utilize CAD/CAM and other software applications to complete projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to document progress and results.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures in the laboratory environment.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance glass technology knowledge.
Bachelor’s Degree In Mechanical Engineering
