Job Description

As one of the world’s leading innovators, Corning is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager, Talent Management to join our organization. We’re looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can bring their enthusiasm and expertise to the team and help us identify and develop our most valuable asset – our people.The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, and learning & development strategies. They will have experience leading initiatives and driving change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. To be successful in this role, the individual should have a passion for human resources and a commitment to excellence.We are seeking a candidate who is a creative problem solver, organized and able to manage multiple priorities, and a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least five years of experience in a Human Resources management role. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead initiatives and drive change within the organization to maximize the talent management strategy.
  2. Implement talent acquisition, performance management, and learning & development strategies to ensure the optimal utilization of human resources.
  3. Develop and manage key metrics to measure the success of talent management strategies.
  4. Identify and develop talent to ensure the organization maintains a competitive advantage.
  5. Maintain a strong understanding of the global and local talent markets.
  6. Develop and implement workforce planning initiatives.
  7. Monitor industry trends and best practices in order to stay current.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  9. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
  10. Create and maintain productive relationships with external recruitment agencies.
  11. Develop and maintain effective training and development programs.
  12. Create and monitor performance management systems.
  13. Provide guidance and direction to the HR team to ensure that they are meeting organizational objectives.
  14. Develop and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  15. Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  16. Develop succession planning strategies.
