- Safely operate and maintain company trucks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our members.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to meet delivery schedules and maximize efficiency.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with logistics team members and customers to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure trucks are in safe and optimal operating condition.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department for repairs.
- Assist with warehouse duties, such as organizing and stocking inventory, when not on delivery routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability by consistently meeting delivery deadlines.
- Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and suggest cost-saving measures.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Business Center Truck Driver At Costco Wholesale Must Possess A Valid Cdl With Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle Being Operated.
Safe Driving Record: Applicants Must Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents Within The Past 3 Years To Ensure Safe Transportation Of Goods.
