- Lead and manage the logistics department to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the logistics process and improve overall efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between departments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines in the logistics department.
- Identify and address any logistical issues or challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management to continuously improve processes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations to senior management.
- Handle any other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Environment.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Direct Reports.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Warehouse Management Systems.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
