- Oversee and manage all logistics operations for the warehouse and distribution centers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics department.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of logistics professionals to ensure high-quality service and performance.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize storage space and prevent stock shortages.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers to negotiate favorable rates and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the logistics process to maintain smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all logistics processes.
- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators and make recommendations for improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics operations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit and train new logistic staff as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster their professional development.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management and handle any escalated customer or vendor issues.
- Ensure all logistics processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the company's bottom line.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all logistics processes.
- Stay updated on new technology and software to improve logistics operations.
- Manage and track the department's budget and expenses.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Wholesale Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Leadership Skills With Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Driving Results.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.
