- Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department, including managing a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to our warehouses and members.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability at all times.
- Work closely with distribution centers and transportation providers to coordinate the efficient and cost-effective movement of products.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to forecast product demand and plan accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and legal requirements in regards to product handling and transportation.
- Continuously analyze and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Train and develop team members to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication within the logistics department and with other departments.
- Provide regular reports and updates on logistics performance to upper management.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and new developments in logistics technology to continuously improve processes.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any issues or delays in the logistics flow, finding solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating with distribution centers, transportation providers, and other external partners.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of products to maintain their quality and integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics, Preferably In A Managerial Role.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.
