- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including managing a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing for transportation services.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation and logistics regulations and requirements.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for warehouse and transportation operations.
- Provide regular reports and updates on supply chain performance, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Train and develop team members on supply chain processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in logistics technology to improve processes and stay competitive.
- Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication within the supply chain.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Logistics Professionals.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Wholesale Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
