- Observe and report any suspicious activity or behavior to the Loss Prevention Manager.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies or losses.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
- Review security footage to identify potential theft or fraud.
- Train and educate employees on loss prevention procedures and protocols.
- Conduct investigations into reported incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
- Work closely with law enforcement agencies and provide support during investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of all security incidents and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Identify and address any potential safety hazards in the store.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention.
- Assist with the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Communicate effectively with customers and de-escalate any potential conflicts.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols while on duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Loss Prevention Techniques And Methods, Such As Cctv Monitoring, Inventory Control, And Cash Handling Procedures.
Experience With Investigations: A Loss Prevention Clerk Should Have Experience Conducting Investigations Of Theft, Fraud, And Other Security Incidents. This Includes Knowledge Of Interviewing Techniques, Evidence Gathering, And Report Writing.
Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Loss Prevention Clerk Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail In Order To Identify Potential Security Risks And Discrepancies. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Accurately And Efficiently Completing Tasks.
Strong Communication Skills: This Position Requires Constant Interaction With Customers, Employees, And Management. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential In Order To Effectively Convey Important Information And Instructions.
