As a Maintenance Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facility.   1. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies and report any shortages to management.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any issues or safety hazards.
  4. Maintain and repair equipment and machinery as needed, escalating any major issues to the appropriate department.
  5. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from fellow employees and report any major issues to management.
  6. Assist with general warehouse tasks, such as stocking shelves, unloading shipments, and assisting customers.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for employees and customers.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from members regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  10. Keep accurate records of maintenance and cleaning tasks performed and report any recurring issues to management.
  11. Attend regular training sessions to stay updated with safety protocols, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Costco Wholesale to members and other employees.
  13. Uphold the company's values and policies at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures Basic Knowledge Of Math, Reading, And Writing Skills Which Are Necessary For Performing Clerical Duties.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Prior Experience In A Maintenance Clerk Or Related Position Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Data Entry, Record-Keeping, And Inventory Management.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: The Maintenance Clerk Is Responsible For Keeping Track Of Inventory, Scheduling Repairs, And Maintaining Records. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Essential To Ensure Efficient And Timely Completion Of Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: The Maintenance Clerk Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify And Report Any Potential Maintenance Issues Or Discrepancies In Inventory. This Is Important To Maintain The Safety And Functionality Of The Store.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Costco Wholesale Is A Busy And Fast-Paced Environment, And The Maintenance Clerk Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively. This Requires The Ability To Work Under Pressure And Meet Deadlines.
