- Assist members with frame and lens selection, utilizing knowledge of vision and eyewear.
- Educate members on various lens options, coatings, and other optical products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance the shopping experience for members.
- Process eyewear orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with members, coworkers, and management regarding product knowledge, promotions, and any other relevant information.
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on eyewear as needed.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and technology.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the optical team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive work environment.
- Handle and resolve member complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of optical products.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sales, orders, and repairs.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Optical Products: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Optical Products, Including Eyeglasses, Contact Lenses, And Sunglasses. They Should Be Able To Educate Customers On The Features And Benefits Of Each Product And Make Appropriate Recommendations Based On The Customer's Needs.
Customer Service Skills: A Key Aspect Of This Role Is Providing Excellent Customer Service. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Be Able To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints, And Have A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor.
Sales Experience: Previous Experience In A Sales Role Is Highly Desirable For This Position. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Be Comfortable With Upselling And Cross-Selling Products To Customers.
Technical Skills: As An Optical Sales Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Conducting Basic Eye Exams, Adjusting And Repairing Glasses, And Operating Specialized Equipment. Therefore, They Should Have Basic Technical Skills And Be Comfortable Using Computer Systems And Software.
