- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders according to company standards and procedures.
- Ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of customer orders to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold company standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Utilize proper handling techniques to ensure the safe transportation of products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in order picking processes.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of both employees and customers.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to customers and team members.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
- Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall success of the company.
Ability To Operate Warehouse Equipment: A Qualified Order Picker At Costco Wholesale Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Operating Various Types Of Warehouse Equipment, Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Cherry Pickers.
Attention To Detail: As An Order Picker, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail In Order To Accurately Select And Pack The Correct Items For Customer Orders.
Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Heavy Lifting, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Navigating Through A Fast-Paced Warehouse Environment. Therefore, Physical Fitness Is An Important Qualification For An Order Picker At Costco Wholesale.
Time Management Skills: In Order To Meet Daily Production Targets, An Order Picker Must Be Able To Efficiently Manage Their Time And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Teamwork And Communication Skills: Working In A Warehouse Requires Collaboration And Communication With Other Team Members, So Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
