- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to company standards and procedures.
- Ensure all orders are completed in a timely manner and meet shipping deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all products are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill large or complex orders.
- Meet productivity and quality standards set by management.
- Prioritize safety and follow all warehouse safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any order inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks, such as receiving and stocking inventory, as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines.
- Adapt to changes in processes and procedures as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of orders picked and communicate any issues or delays to management.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and suggest new ideas for efficiency and productivity.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required by management.
Experience In Order Picking: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Order Picking, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Retail Environment. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Process And Can Quickly Adapt To Costco's System.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: As An Order Picker, The Job Requires Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Order Picking Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That The Correct Products And Quantities Are Selected For Each Order. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Minimize Errors And Maintain Accuracy.
