- Accurately pick and pack member orders according to established procedures.
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to meet member expectations.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete orders efficiently.
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and productive environment.
- Operate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members by addressing any concerns or questions regarding their orders.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting any inventory discrepancies or product quality issues.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet daily production goals.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to our valued members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For An Order Picker Position At Costco Wholesale.
Prior Warehouse Or Order Picking Experience: Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Order Picking Role Is Preferred, As This Demonstrates The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Physically Demanding Tasks.
Strong Attention To Detail: As An Order Picker, You Will Be Responsible For Accurately Selecting And Packaging Items For Customer Orders. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure The Correct Items Are Selected And Packaged Correctly.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Role Involves Standing, Walking, And Lifting Heavy Items For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Ability To Work In A Team: The Order Picker Position At Costco Wholesale Requires Working Collaboratively With Other Team Members To Fulfill Customer Orders. Candidates Should Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
