  1. Dispensing and verifying prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.

  4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles.
  6. Staying up-to-date on industry developments, new medications, and treatment protocols.
  7. Ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  8. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any patient concerns or issues.
  9. Participating in inventory management and ordering of medications.
  10. Adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
  11. Training and mentoring pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
  12. Continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.
  13. Contributing to the overall success and profitability of the pharmacy department.
  14. Representing the pharmacy and Costco Wholesale in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Pharmacist - Registered At Costco Wholesale Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Pharmaceutical Sciences And Prepares Candidates For The Licensure Exam.

  • State Licensure: All Costco Wholesale Pharmacist - Registered Employees Must Have A Valid And Current State License To Practice Pharmacy. This License Is Obtained By Passing The North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (Naplex) And The Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (Mpje).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medications: Costco Wholesale Expects Its Pharmacist - Registered Employees To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medications, Including Their Uses, Side Effects, And Interactions. This Knowledge Is Essential In Providing Safe And Effective Medication Therapy To Customers.
