  1. Oversee the overall operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring that it runs efficiently and effectively.
  2. Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company standards.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and manage medication orders to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to promote and market pharmacy services to members.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient profiles, medication histories, and insurance information.
  8. Handle any customer complaints or concerns related to the pharmacy department, and work to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  9. Stay current with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to the pharmacy department.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff, as well as identify and address any performance or disciplinary issues.
  12. Manage the budget for the pharmacy department, including monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
  13. Participate in company meetings and trainings, and represent the pharmacy department in cross-functional initiatives.
  14. Ensure all necessary certifications and licenses are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive image of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage A Pharmacy Department.
