  4. Collaborate with other warehouse team members to fulfill orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  6. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management and equipment operation.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.
  8. Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by the company.
  9. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  10. Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on best practices and safety protocols for power equipment operation.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience Operating Heavy Machinery: A Power Equipment Operator At Costco Wholesale Should Have Significant Experience Operating Various Types Of Heavy Equipment, Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Cherry Pickers. This Experience Should Be Demonstrated Through Previous Work Experience Or Training Programs.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: As A Power Equipment Operator, It Is Crucial To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures To Ensure The Safety Of Oneself And Others. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Equipment Operation, Handling Of Hazardous Materials, And Maintaining A Clean And Organized Work Environment.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Role Requires Physical Strength And Endurance As Operators May Need To Work Long Hours In A Warehouse Environment, Often In Physically Demanding Conditions. They Should Also Possess Good Hand-Eye Coordination And Fine Motor Skills To Operate The Machinery Safely And Efficiently.

  • Ability To Follow Instructions And Work Independently: A Power Equipment Operator Should Be Able To Follow Instructions Accurately And Work Independently Without Constant Supervision. They Should Also Have The Ability To Make Quick Decisions And Problem-Solve In Case Of Any Equipment Malfunctions Or Unexpected Situations.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role To Coordinate With Team Members And Supervisors, As Well As To Communicate Any Issues Or Concerns Regarding The Equipment Or Materials Being Handled. A Power Equipment Operator Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Efficiently To Maintain A Smooth Workflow.
