- Receive and process incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect merchandise for quality and damages.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store merchandise.

Strong Organizational Skills: A Receiving Clerk At Costco Wholesale Must Be Able To Efficiently Manage And Organize Incoming Inventory, Ensuring That All Items Are Properly Sorted And Stored.
Attention To Detail: As A Receiving Clerk, It Is Crucial To Pay Close Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Record And Track Inventory Levels, As Well As Identify Any Potential Discrepancies Or Errors.
