In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and presentation of our merchandise, ensuring our shelves are always fully stocked and ready for our members. - Maintaining organization and presentation of merchandise: The Stocker will be responsible for ensuring all products are neatly and accurately displayed on shelves, following company merchandising guidelines.
- Stocking shelves: The Stocker will be responsible for restocking shelves with merchandise as needed, ensuring products are readily available for members to purchase.
- Monitoring inventory levels: The Stocker will keep track of inventory levels and inform management when products are running low, in order to maintain fully stocked shelves at all times.
- Rotating products: The Stocker will rotate products to ensure that older items are brought to the front and newer items are placed at the back, in accordance with company policies.
- Ensuring product quality: The Stocker will carefully inspect products for any defects or damages and remove any damaged or expired items from shelves.
- Assisting with receiving shipments: The Stocker will assist with receiving and unloading merchandise deliveries, verifying accuracy and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Following safety protocols: The Stocker will follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling merchandise, including the proper use of equipment and lifting techniques.
- Providing excellent customer service: The Stocker will greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner, and answer any questions they may have about products or store layout.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: The Stocker will ensure that the stockroom and sales floor are clean, organized, and free of any hazards.
- Collaborating with team members: The Stocker will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks, and assist with other duties as needed.
