- Unload, unpack, and label merchandise according to company standards.
- Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves and displays.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockroom and sales floor.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols when handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and inventory needs.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired products to management.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and changes in inventory.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective stock management.
- Take initiative to suggest improvements to stock management processes.
- Uphold Costco's values and standards of excellence at all times.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Stockers Are Required To Frequently Lift And Carry Items Weighing Up To 50 Pounds.
Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills To Ensure Accurate And Efficient Restocking Of Shelves And Displays.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, As Stockers Are Often Responsible For Restocking Multiple Sections Of The Store.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate With Other Employees And Assist Customers In Finding Products.
