- Maintain inventory levels: Regularly monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to the management team.
- Stock shelves: Receive and organize merchandise according to department and ensure shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing at all times.
- Rotate products: Follow proper rotation procedures to ensure that older products are sold first, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness for customers.
- Check for accuracy: Ensure that all products are accurately labeled and priced, and report any errors to the appropriate department.
- Restock sold items: Monitor sales and promptly restock shelves with sold items to ensure continuous availability for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness: Keep work area clean and organized, including back storage areas, and follow all safety protocols while performing tasks.
- Assist with inventory audits: Participate in inventory audits as needed and assist with counting and recording merchandise.
- Collaborate with team: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient customer service.
- Provide excellent customer service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, and provide product recommendations and assistance as needed.
- Follow company policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
- Monitor product quality: Keep an eye out for damaged or expired products and promptly report any issues to the management team.
- Maintain product knowledge: Stay updated on new products, changes in pricing or inventory, and any other relevant information to provide accurate and helpful customer service.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Previous Experience In Inventory Management Or Stocking In A Retail Environment
