- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of clinical informatics systems and processes.

- Lead and mentor a team of informatics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.

Advanced Degree In Healthcare Or Computer Science: A Clinical Informatics Director At Covance Must Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Or Computer Science. This Advanced Degree Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Lead The Informatics Team And Implement Innovative Solutions.
Extensive Experience In Clinical Informatics: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Clinical Informatics, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Informatics Projects And Teams. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Work With Various Clinical Informatics Systems, Data Management, And Analytics.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Leader Of The Informatics Team, The Clinical Informatics Director Must Possess Excellent Managerial Skills, Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Have A Strategic Mindset. They Should Also Be Able To Lead And Mentor Team Members To Achieve Their Full Potential.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Covance Is A Highly Regulated Organization, And The Clinical Informatics Director Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements, Including Hipaa, Gcp, And Fda Regulations. They Should Also Have Experience In Ensuring Compliance With These Regulations In Informatics Projects.
