  1. Collect and process blood samples for clinical research studies in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Adhere to strict protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent sample collection and processing.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety and infection control guidelines.
  4. Communicate effectively with study participants, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the phlebotomy process.
  5. Accurately label, document, and track all collected samples to ensure proper identification and record-keeping.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient sample processing and data entry.
  7. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and restock as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  8. Follow all regulatory and ethical guidelines, including HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), to ensure compliance and patient confidentiality.
  9. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on new procedures and techniques in the field of phlebotomy.
  10. Assist with other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Certification In Phlebotomy From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Phlebotomist In A Clinical Or Laboratory Setting

  • Familiarity With Standard Blood Collection Techniques And Equipment

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
