Human Resources Compliance Manager

Leads and develops major HR compliance programs, processes, and initiatives, including I-9/E-verify compliance, preemployment screening and adjudication, compliance postings and trainings, and third-party vendor management. Develops framework for tracking HR compliance programs, and maintains internal controls and policies designed to ensure organizational compliance needs are met. Conducts ongoing assessment and periodic audit of HR processes, practices, and policies, and develops remediation plans as necessary. Serves as primary contact for all pre-employment screening escalations. Facilitates and assists with HR compliance assessments related to merger & acquisition due diligence and integration activity. Assists with the development and implementation of safety-related compliance programs, including workers’ compensation and DOT/federal motor carrier requirements.
