Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Generalist to join the Cox Business team. You will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining an effective HR department, providing strategic solutions to support the organization's overall business objectives.To thrive in this role, you must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. You must also have a good understanding of HR best practices and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a business setting. You must also possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement human resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  3. Manage the recruitment and selection process
  4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  6. Nurture a positive working environment
  7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  8. Maintain payroll and benefits administration
  9. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  11. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  12. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team
  13. Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
