Experience In Fiber Optic Splicing: A Qualified Candidate For The Associate Fiber Splicer Job At Crown Castle International Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Fiber Optic Splicing. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Splicing Techniques, Such As Fusion Splicing And Mechanical Splicing, As Well As Experience With Different Types Of Fiber Optic Cables.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Fiber Optic Splicing, Such As Ansi/Tia/Eia And Nec Codes. They Should Also Be Familiar With Safety Protocols And Procedures For Working With Fiber Optic Cables.
Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Plans: The Associate Fiber Splicer Will Be Responsible For Following Engineering Plans And Diagrams To Accurately Splice Fiber Optic Cables. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Strong Reading And Interpretation Skills To Ensure The Correct Placement And Connection Of Cables.
