  1. Install, maintain, and repair utility systems, including but not limited to fiber optic and electrical systems.
  2. Ensure all installations are completed with accuracy and in accordance with company standards.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with utility systems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
  4. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  6. Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs, including documenting any changes or updates made to the systems.
  7. Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements and techniques.
  8. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to provide excellent customer service and resolve any concerns or issues.
  9. Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations.
  12. Keep track of inventory and materials needed for installations and repairs.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Utility Installation Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Utility Installation Methods, Including Trenching, Directional Drilling, And Plowing. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Equipment And Tools Used For Installation.

  • Knowledge Of Utility Regulations And Safety Protocols: As A Utility Installation Technician, The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Utility Installation. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures To Ensure A Safe Working Environment.

  • Experience With Network Infrastructure: A Strong Background In Network Infrastructure, Including Fiber Optics And Wireless Networks, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Related To Network Installation And Maintenance.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Part Of A Larger Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Technicians And Project Managers. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Clients And Stakeholders.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Work Outdoors: Utility Installation Work Often Involves Physically Demanding Tasks And Working Outdoors In Various Weather Conditions. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Work In Challenging Environments.
