High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Freight Conductor At Csx Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Relevant Work Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Work Experience In The Railroad Industry, Preferably In A Similar Position.
Knowledge Of Railroad Operations: A Thorough Understanding Of Railroad Operations, Safety Regulations, And Procedures Is Essential For The Role Of A Freight Conductor At Csx.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Work In All Weather Conditions: The Job Of A Freight Conductor Requires Physical Strength And Stamina To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting Heavy Objects, Climbing Ladders, And Walking Long Distances. They Must Also Be Able To Work In All Weather Conditions, Including Extreme Temperatures And Inclement Weather.
