  1. Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  2. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
  3. Learn and implement the latest techniques and technologies in the diesel industry.
  4. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
  5. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and diagnose diesel engine issues and propose effective solutions.
  6. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers to ensure clear understanding of tasks and expectations.
  7. Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
  8. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve technical skills and stay updated on industry developments.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical standards and compliance with regulations.
  11. Show a strong interest and passion for the diesel industry and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Diesel Technician: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Recognized Certification In Diesel Engine Repair And Maintenance, Such As Ase Or Cummins Certified Technician.

  • Experience With Dod Vehicles: A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working On Department Of Defense Vehicles, Including Knowledge Of Military Specifications And Regulations.

  • Troubleshooting Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Diesel Engine Systems And Possess Excellent Troubleshooting Skills To Diagnose And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.

  • Security Clearance: Due To The Sensitive Nature Of The Work, The Candidate Must Have An Active Secret Or Top Secret Security Clearance, Or Be Able To Obtain One.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Have A Positive Attitude And Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment, As Well As Possess Strong Communication Skills To Interact With Military Personnel And Other Cummins Employees.
