  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various power generation systems, including diesel and gas engines, generators, and associated control systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime for customers.
  3. Perform on-site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions and provide technical support and training as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all service and maintenance activities.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in potentially hazardous environments.
  7. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in power generation technology.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience In Power Generation Equipment: A Field Service Power Generation Technician At Cummins Must Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of Power Generation Systems, Including Diesel And Gas Engines, Generators, Control Systems, And Associated Components.

  • Formal Training Or Certification In Power Generation: Cummins Values Candidates Who Have Completed Formal Training Programs Or Possess Relevant Certifications In Power Generation. This Demonstrates A Strong Commitment To The Field And Ensures A Solid Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills.

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving: As A Field Service Power Generation Technician, One Must Be Able To Quickly And Accurately Diagnose Issues With Power Generation Equipment And Develop Effective Solutions To Address Them. This Requires Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.
