
District Support Immunization Pharmacist
As a District Support Immunization Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients. You will be responsible for providing immunizations and providing comprehensive clinical support services for the district. With your experience and expertise, you will be a key resource, providing guidance and support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals within the district.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college/university, as well as at least 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a retail setting. You should also have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to patient safety and excellent customer service is essential, as is the ability to multi-task and work effectively with a variety of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive immunization and clinical support services for the district
• Assess and approve immunization requests from customers
• Educate customers on the importance of immunizations and the risks of not receiving them
• Monitor and manage immunization-related activities and programs
• Develop and implement strategies to improve immunization rates in the district
• Work with healthcare professionals and pharmacists to ensure that immunization standards are met
• Ensure patient safety through accurate and timely immunization administration
• Maintain accurate records of immunizations and other related activities
• Provide excellent customer service to customers seeking immunizations
• Stay abreast of new developments and trends in the field of immunizations
• Maintain strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
