  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients according to their prescription and dosage requirements.
  2. Patient Consultation: The Pharmacist will use their expertise and advanced pharmaceutical knowledge to provide comprehensive and compassionate consultation to patients regarding their medications, potential side effects, and proper usage.
  3. Medication Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate medication records for patients, including drug interactions, allergies, and medical history.
  4. Compliance: The Pharmacist will ensure all medications are dispensed in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as the company's policies and procedures.
  5. Quality Assurance: The Pharmacist will perform quality assurance checks to ensure medications are accurately dispensed and meet the company's standards for safety and effectiveness.
  6. Team Collaboration: The Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals and members of the Specialty Mail Order team to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.

  8. Continuing Education: The Pharmacist will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmaceuticals and participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain their knowledge and skills.
  9. Inventory Management: The Pharmacist will manage and maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring an adequate supply for patient needs while minimizing waste.
  10. Customer Service: The Pharmacist will provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  11. Adherence Support: The Pharmacist will support patient adherence to medication regimens by providing education and resources to promote medication adherence.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy

  • Active Pharmacist License In State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Or Mail Order Pharmacy Setting

  • Strong Understanding Of Medication Therapy Management And Drug Interactions

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A High-Volume Workload And Meet Deadlines.
