- Assist the pharmacy team in providing exceptional customer service and care to patients.
- Learn and adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely prescription processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of medications.
- Learn and utilize pharmacy computer systems to accurately input and retrieve patient information and medication orders.
- Participate in patient counseling and medication therapy management services under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Attend and actively participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Represent CVS Health in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
- Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the pharmacy manager or preceptor.
Completion Of At Least Two Years Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharm.d.) Program At An Accredited College Or University.
Active Enrollment In A State-Recognized Pharmacy Internship Program.
Familiarity With Pharmacy Operations And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members.
Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately And Efficiently Perform Tasks Such As Filling Prescriptions, Verifying Insurance Information, And Managing Inventory.
