Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately and efficiently filling prescriptions. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in pharmacy-related activities, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)• Completion of an approved/accredited pharmacy technician program• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification• 1+ year of experience working as a pharmacy technician• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures• Proficiency with computers and pharmacy systems• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician:

1. Prepare and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently according to established protocols.
2. Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
3. Assist customers and patients with medication information as needed.
4. Follow all laws, regulations, and procedures related to the pharmacy.
5. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions filled and other related activities.
6. Process payments and accurately maintain records of financial transactions.
7. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the pharmacy.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
