Senior Systems Administrator

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of IT systems, a strong aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a systems administrator, including experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco technologies. Experience working with cloud solutions, scripting, and virtualization technologies is a plus. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and support CVS Health’s IT systems, such as Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco technologies.
2. Maintain and update existing systems and applications.
3. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
4. Provide technical support and customer service to internal users.
5. Develop and implement system security protocols and procedures.
6. Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
7. Utilize scripting and virtualization technologies to automate processes and increase system performance.
8. Work with external vendors to ensure the best quality solutions.
9. Document processes and policies related to the IT system.
10. Lead and mentor junior systems administrators.
