Staff Pharmacist

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will be an integral part of our community pharmacy team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accuracy in medication dispensing, and developing strong relationships with patients. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, a commitment to patient safety, and a passion for helping others.The successful candidate will possess a PharmD degree and a valid pharmacist license in the state of practice. They must also have knowledge of general pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines. Additionally, experience in a retail pharmacy setting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is preferred. Our ideal Staff Pharmacist is someone who is patient and compassionate and who takes the time to listen to each patient’s individual needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
2. Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines
3. Provide excellent customer service to patients
4. Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate compassion and empathy
5. Maintain patient safety through accurate dispensing of medications
6. Resolve customer complaints and answer questions in a timely manner
7. Assist in the management and organization of the pharmacy
8. Comply with all CVS Health policies and procedures
9. Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
10. Stay up-to-date on pharmacy trends and new medications
