- Lead the strategic sourcing process for Daimler Trucks North America, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in sourcing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential cost savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and track supplier performance, utilizing key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough cost and spend analysis to identify areas for cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing activities and cost savings initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to sourcing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Participate in supplier audits and evaluations to ensure quality and consistency in products and services.
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, both internally and externally, promoting our brand and values.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Analysis Tools, Such As Excel Or Sap.
Knowledge Of The Automotive Industry And Familiarity With The Trucking Market.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
