
Assistant Coach - Track and Field

- Plan and implement effective training programs for track and field student-athletes, taking into consideration individual abilities and goals.
- Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes during practices, meets, and other team activities.
- Monitor and evaluate student-athlete performance and progress, and make necessary adjustments to training plans.
- Assist in recruitment efforts by identifying and evaluating potential student-athletes, and communicating with coaches and high school programs.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and other team events.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, and ensure compliance by self and student-athletes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and other members of the athletics department.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay up-to-date on current coaching techniques and strategies.
- Represent Dartmouth College and the track and field program in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Contribute to the overall success of the track and field program by assisting with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Kinesiology, Sports Science, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience Coaching Track And Field At The Collegiate Level.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills.
Experience In Planning And Implementing Training Programs For Various Track And Field Events.
