We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Dialysis RN. As an Acute Dialysis RN, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing critical care and support during their hospital stay.   1. Provide exceptional care to patients with kidney disease in a hospital setting.
  2. Administer dialysis treatments and closely monitor patients' vital signs.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  4. Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  5. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progress in electronic medical records.
  6. Monitor and maintain dialysis equipment and supplies.
  7. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Continuously assess and evaluate patient response to treatments and make necessary adjustments.
  10. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients, promoting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  11. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance improvement activities.
  12. Maintain current knowledge of best practices and advancements in acute dialysis care.
  13. Uphold DaVita's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy at all times.
  15. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Practice

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Acute Dialysis Nursing

  • Certification In Nephrology Nursing (Cnn), Preferred

  • Experience With Crrt, Sled, And/Or Apheresis Procedures

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, With Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills.
