- Manage the admissions process for patients entering DaVita Kidney Care facilities.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance coverage and medical history.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure a smooth and timely admissions process.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines and regulations during the admissions process.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless transition for patients into our care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions and patient information.
- Educate patients and their families on the admissions process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Work closely with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Identify and address any potential issues or barriers to admissions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families during the admissions process.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a high standard of care for all patients.
- Continuously work towards improving the admissions process and identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field (E.g. Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work)
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Admissions Or Patient Services
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Specifically In Regards To Admissions And Patient Privacy
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals
