We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team and lead our HR department. As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.   1. Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives in line with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  2. Oversee all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to identify staffing needs and create effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  4. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to human resources.
  5. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and engagement.
  6. Develop and implement effective performance management systems to support employee growth and development.
  7. Manage and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  9. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  10. Continuously assess and improve HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
  12. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external HR resources, such as recruiters, job placement agencies, and industry associations.
  13. Prepare and present regular reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee satisfaction.
  14. Lead and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support for their professional growth and development.
  15. Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement organization-wide policies and procedures related to HR.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Human Resources Management: The Ideal Candidate For Director Of Human Resources At Deaconess Health System Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Human Resources Functions In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Experience In Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, And Performance Management.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations: Deaconess Health System Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, Thus The Director Of Human Resources Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa, Fmla, And Ada. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Policies And Procedures To Ensure Compliance.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As The Head Of The Human Resources Department, The Director Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Drive Results. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization And Build Relationships With External Stakeholders.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director Of Human Resources At Deaconess Health System Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Hr Strategies That Align With The Organization's Goals And Objectives. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Hr Issues And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Director Of Human Resources Position. This Education Provides A Solid Foundation In Hr Principles And Practices And Prepares The Candidate For The Complexities Of Managing A Large Healthcare Organization. Professional Certifications Such As Shrm-Scp Or Sphr Are Also Highly Desirable.
