  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the materials management department in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the materials management team, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  3. Ensure that all materials and supplies are sourced, purchased, and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  5. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  7. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the procurement and distribution of materials.
  8. Develop and maintain a budget for the materials management department, ensuring that all expenditures are within approved limits.
  9. Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to materials management staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials management practices, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that materials management supports and enhances the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
  12. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including staff, vendors, and senior management, to ensure that materials management operations are aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
  13. Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems to improve processes and streamline operations.
  14. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to ensure continuity of materials management operations in the event of a crisis or disaster.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role In Materials Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Control, Procurement Processes, And Supply Chain Operations.

  • Experience With Implementing And Managing Electronic Inventory Management Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team.
