- Provide direct patient care: The primary responsibility of a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Deaconess Health System is to provide direct patient care and support to our diverse patient population.
- Assist with daily living activities: CNAs will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patient vitals: CNAs will be responsible for monitoring and recording patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, and reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Maintain patient hygiene: CNAs will ensure that patients maintain proper hygiene by assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication: CNAs may be responsible for administering medication to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Illinois Nurse Assistant Certification (Cna) In Order To Be Considered For A Cna Position At Deaconess Health System.
Experience: At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Provide High-Quality Care And Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
