  1. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable contracts and pricing for necessary supplies and equipment.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking and purchasing based on demand and budget constraints.
  3. Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts, including tracking deliveries and managing invoices and payments.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the organization to understand their supply needs and ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
  5. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management to make informed decisions and improve processes.
  6. Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms for the organization.
  7. Implement cost-saving strategies and identify opportunities for process improvements in the procurement process.
  8. Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth and timely procurement processes.
  9. Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  11. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or risks in the procurement process.
  12. Train and mentor junior purchasing staff, as needed, to ensure the success of the purchasing department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Purchasing Processes, Contract Negotiation, And Vendor Management.

  • Proficiency In Using Purchasing Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Internal Stakeholders And External Vendors.
