U.S. Anti-Corruption & Trade / Political Activity Compliance

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that our firm adheres to the applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to political activity and anti-corruption. The ideal candidate for this role will have an impressive background in compliance and/or audit with a focus on anti-corruption and political activity. A strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, along with sound judgment, effective communication, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to political activity and anti-corruption.
2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and external regulatory authorities.
3. Review and analyze data to identify potential compliance risks and violations.
4. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on political activity and anti-corruption compliance.
5. Investigate potential violations and prepare reports of findings.
6. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
7. Work collaboratively with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
8. Respond to inquiries from regulators and provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
9. Prepare and update compliance control plans and risk assessments.
10. Monitor business activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
