Director, Asset Protection & Safety

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Asset Protection & Safety to join the Denny's team. Reporting to the Vice President of Loss Prevention and Safety, this position is responsible for leading all asset protection and safety initiatives across the organization and ensuring the safe, secure and profitable operation of all Denny's locations.The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in business, criminal justice, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role; experience in developing and implementing safety and asset protection standards; extensive knowledge of risk management and compliance; proven experience in leading investigations, developing and delivering training, and developing policies and procedures; and excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.If you are looking for an exciting and challenging position at a fast-paced, growing organization, this could be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilites:

1. Lead all asset protection and safety initiatives across the organization.
2. Ensure the safe, secure and profitable operation of all Denny's locations.
3. Develop and implement safety and asset protection standards.
4. Maintain extensive knowledge of risk management and compliance.
5. Lead investigations, develop and deliver training, and develop policies and procedures.
6. Manage budgets, personnel, and resources.
7. Monitor employee performance and safety compliance.
8. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
9. Communicate with stakeholders and senior management.
10. Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
11. Develop and implement safety training programs.
12. Monitor vendor activities and partner with vendors to improve safety.
13. Liaise with law enforcement and other relevant stakeholders.
