  1. Conduct thorough investigations of potentially suspicious financial transactions using various tools and techniques, such as transaction monitoring software, customer due diligence, and external research.
  2. Analyze large volumes of data to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes.
  3. Review and validate alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system, and escalate cases to senior management as necessary.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and law enforcement agencies, to gather additional information and evidence for investigations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
  6. Utilize advanced investigative skills to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data and transactional activity.
  7. Document and maintain accurate records of all investigations and related actions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and law enforcement agencies.
  9. Identify and report potential risks and gaps in the current AML processes and procedures, and suggest improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
  10. Uphold ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity by adhering to the bank's code of conduct and regulatory requirements.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills related to AML and financial crime prevention.
  12. Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, and assist with their training and development.
  13. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of investigations and reporting.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the AML program by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise, and suggesting innovative ideas for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Aml Transaction Monitoring Or Investigations.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Identify Suspicious Activity Within Large Datasets.
