- Develop and implement audit plans and strategies to evaluate the credit risk management practices of Deutsche Bank.
- Lead and manage a team of auditors to conduct thorough and independent reviews of credit risk processes and controls.
- Provide guidance and support to junior auditors, ensuring high-quality and timely completion of audit engagements.
- Identify and assess credit risk areas and potential vulnerabilities, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Communicate audit findings and observations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders, including senior management and control functions.
- Collaborate with other audit teams and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to risk assessment and audit planning.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks related to credit risk management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk management, and compliance teams.
- Participate in relevant committees and working groups to provide subject matter expertise and represent the internal audit function.
- Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of internal audit processes and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support for their career development.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the internal audit team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance risk management practices and drive positive change within the organization.
- Perform special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required by senior management or regulatory bodies.
Strong Knowledge Of Credit Risk Management: The Lead Principal Auditor Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Credit Risk Management Principles, Including Credit Risk Assessment, Measurement, And Mitigation Strategies.
Extensive Experience In Auditing: This Role Requires A Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Internal Or External Auditing, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Conducting Audits In A Dynamic And Complex Environment.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead Principal Auditor, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Communicate Effectively With Senior Management And Lead A Team Of Auditors. Strong Leadership Skills, As Well As The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner, Are Essential For This Role.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Basel Iii And Ifrs 9, And How They Impact Credit Risk Management. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Identifying Potential Compliance Issues And Making Recommendations For Improvement.
